Registering with Kelly Services

Registering with Kelly Services

There's a friendly atmosphere in all of our offices and you will be made to feel very welcome. You will be invited to complete a registration form with all your personal details, including skills, qualifications and employment background. Please bring an up to date copy of your CV with you. Your registration is a chance for your consultant to learn more about you. This will help them to approach the right clients and right roles that suit your skills and personality.

How long will this take?

The registration will last at least an hour. At Kelly Services we want to take the time to understand more about you than just your CV. Our consultants will look to learn more about your skills and personality to make sure they are fully prepared to represent you. So if you are looking for a administration role or a Biotechnology Lab Technician we will spend the time getting to know you.

What happens next?

Your personal consultant will discuss your skills, preferences and personality, so that they can match you with the right job. Current vacancies will then be checked for suitability

When will I hear about job opportunities?

If there are no vacancies currently suitable, your consultant will continue to search and contact you immediately they find one. It is also important that you keep in regular contact so you are up to date on current opportunities.

Will you arrange an interview?

For temporary work, once we have gone through the assignment with you, you may be required to attend an interview with our client. Sometimes this may not be the case and you will be able to start work straight away. For permanent positions, we will keep in regular contact with you to keep you up to date on any roles currently available. We will make regular calls to our clients to ensure we are the first to know of any new opportunities. Once the client has seen your CV and would like to arrange an interview, we will ask to see you again, or arrange a phone call to prepare for the interview. If the interview is successful in the first stage many clients will conduce second stage interviews.
